Overdue...and finally
The family portrait became a reality. Finally. The elder sis was happy, so was the younger one.
3hrs prior to the actual photoshoot, she buzzed abt the house. "Do i look ok?" "May i borrow your makeup" ...etc etc..
Was quite an interesting sight.
The younger one donned the bright yellow dress, whilst the elder one took on a nice satin pink outfit. They looked really pretty.
The snapping process was quite a hassle. can't imagine hw it'll be like for the actual big day. gulp. nvm..prolly wudn't happen till a few years more down the road.
The outcome made me realise that it was worth it all. A family pic. Priceless.
A moment sealed in history.
Wish he was around..

Knowing what u want and what u don't
and so i spoke to a mate about that. ok perhaps not one mate but quite a few on that similar topic. a seemingly simple question, yet it creates quite a fair bit of discussion. a fairly valid topic to work on for almost everyone, yet, many a times well-shunned by aplenty.
if only life was that simple? mebbe it is, we just complicate matters.
so u do know what u want? then work towards it and reap the rewards? easier said than done.
consequences, varied outcome possibilities and fear somewhat hinders the action. So they say, take
calculated risks. don't think that works alot. then again, i may be wrong. life cud hv been better or easier
if i took on 'calculated risks' ? nvrtheless, am not regretting the decisions made thus far in life. am thankful
for the very existence.
perhaps one shd just go with the gut feel of things. haha, suicidal decision making method at times. but could possibly reap
some goodness!

post easter blues?
perhaps, especially with a long weekend spent.
thankfully all was calm at desk, except for the occasional buzz
a perfect time for admin work to kick in..
and an occasional chatter
the post work breeze was great,
whiffs of char-grilled meats, fried noodles send grumbles in the tummy
settling for braised duck was certainly comforting, especially
with the company of a very experienced mentor from the mkts.
always a fascination how time and experiences brings humility..
i look forward to that and wish for a whole hearted embrace in time to come..
and so a random person sent me a random msg:
"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift, that's why its called the Present"
how true indeed..
