Day 1

Flight to sh was rather long. i'm so gonna reconsider connecting/transit flights. well guess the only comfort was a box of godiva truffles i picked up whilst waiting for the flight in HK airport. as planned, i decided on the bullet train- maglev, for the trip out to Longyang station, where i had to take another 20min taxi ride to Jinmao- Grand Hyatt to meet up reubs.

Yesterday's weather was kinda bad. winds were strong and temps were prolly hovering abt 7-10 degrees?

Caught up with lydia, todd (sh office), faye (hk office), tog with reubs. Xintiandi for dinner! The gang suggested shanghainese food...of cos..since we're in sh. Popped into a pretty chic resto and there was no turning back. we were starving. the dinner table was laced with all sorts of possible food we could order. foie gras, chicken, soups,veggies, crabs... i weighed myself on the scale after dinner. eeks. i need to perform damage control.
